CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s parliament address on Thursday missed the pressing issues concerning the prosperity of nation.

Addressing a talk show on ‘role of youths in nation building’ organised by the CPN (UML) central youth and sports department in the Capital on Friday, party Chairman and erstwhile Prime Minister accused that the PM’s address was focused just on distributing money to the former Maoist combatants.

The PM’s address was mute regarding the construction of a fast track, agenda of his upcoming India visit and other high-level visits likely to take place in the country in future.

He claimed that though the government led had introduced action plan for nation building, its enforcement was not possible as previous government was not given time to work for a long.

Also speaking on the occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha stressed that all political parties should come together regarding the issues of national interests.

Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala praised the ‘noble deeds’ of the erstwhile government and called on the incumbent government to continue with such good works.
