A fire ripping through the Bagbazaar of Dadeldhura is spiraling out of control as a fire engine dispatched from Dipayal is yet to arrive at the incident site. Efforts are being made to bring the fire under control. The fire which started from Rajai mattress shop in Bagbazaar at 6 am is spreading from one shop to another. Madan Prakash General store, Baidhyanath cotton industry, Sidha Binayak Traders and another vegetable shop have been completely destroyed in fire while other nearby shops have sustained minor damages. Armed Police Force, Nepal Army and Police are trying to take the inferno under control. Locals are complaining that it is getting difficult to take the fire under control due to the lack of water.The only fire brigade which is broken since a week has been taken to Dhangadhi. Police have informed that other fire brigades have been called in from Baitadi and Doti. Meanwhile, the locals have vented anger on the administration by vandalising the Amargadhi municipality office.
