Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has ruled out the possibility of toppling the government anytime soon. “But this government will not remain at the helm forever. Change in government is a common in democracy,” said the prime minister. Speaking with journalist at Biratnagar on Friday, PM Oli complained that the government’s good works have been criticised. “There is no need to lend ear to criticisms if one is doing good work,” said PM.PM Oli remarked that the upcoming budget will be a budget for development and his government is unveiling unique programmes in this budget. Claiming that the upcoming budget will bring new policies and programmes for the development of the country and also guarantees their effective implementation, PM Oli said, “This will not be a traditional budget that records mere income and expenditure. Speaking about Madhes crisis facing the country, PM Oli said that one cannot reach consensus through conflict and violence. According to PM, his government will soon initiate talks process with the agitating Madhes-centric parties. “I have summoned an all-party meeting tomorrow morning where process to resolve Madhes issue will be initiated,” said Oli, “Mahanta-ji will be unable to attend meeting tomorrow, however, I request all other agitating parties to participate in the meeting.” Saying that Nepali Congress, among other parties, have manifested change in their behaviour and attitude lately, PM Oli urged everyone to take the stock of the situation seriously.
