Office of the controller of examination, Bhaktapur today publishes the results of SLC examination 2072. The SLC results has been published in different nine grades from A+ to E. The office is terminating the provision on grace marks to the students from this year. The OCE Examination Committee (SLC Board) used to give up to 5 marks as grace marks to weaker students. With the introduction of the letter grading system, no student will fail this year in the 82-year long history of SLC examination. A total of 615,553 students have appeared in SLC exams this year.In previous years, students used to get their mark sheet with subject-wise score and percentage. But from this year, the examinees will get grade sheets with grades in each subject and Grade Point Average. A total of 615,553 students had filled exam forms but 11,864 were deemed ineligible and 15,537 did not turn up to take the exam. As a result, 437,326 students took the exam. As many as 16,454 students got GPA between 3.6 and 4.0 which falls in A+ category and translates to a percentage between 90 and 100. Some of the students who appeared for SLC were not excited about their results, as they would have preferred subject-wise marks and result in percentage.
