MUSICIAN AMBAR GURUNG BACK TO NEPAL

Veteran musician Amber Gurung was admitted to Haryana-based Medanta Hospital in India on Monday after he suffered from serious problems of digestive system and vascular disease.

The 77-year-old musician had been admitted to Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital in the Capital prior to this. He was referred to Medanda hospital from Grande after he failed to digest solid food for the past three months.

He is accompanied by his son Raju and daughter Alki. He was brought to New Delhi on Thursday.

Doctors under Oncology and Gastrointestinal unit at Medanta—Dr Ashok Baidhya and Dr Randhir Sood—have been attending on Gurung.

According to his son Raju, doctors will start further treatment of Gurung only after conducting CT scan and endoscopy of his stomach.
