A clash has erupted between youths from Nepal and India at the no-man’s land following a debate over construction of a dam by Indian authorities.The clash was ensued after local youths demolished a dam that was being constructed by India at the no-man’s land breaching international norms. Nepali youths damaged some 80 percent of the dam constructed by India.Security personnel from both the countries are attempting to contain the clash.With the dam construction underway, nearly half a dozen VDCs are on the verge of inundation. VDCs including Tilathi, Sakarpura, Rampura, Malhaniya were inundated after the swollen Khando rivulet entered into the southern part of the district.
