The 10-month-old animal, known by villagers as Zhu Jianqiang, which means Strong-Willed Pig, was born with only two front legs, which it now uses to walk on.

According to owner Wang Xihai, Zhu Jianqiang was one of nine piglets born in a litter this January.
He recalls: ‘My wife asked me to dump it but I refused as it’s a life. I thought I should give it a chance and unexpectedly it survived healthily.’

Several days after Zhu’s birth Wang decided to train the two-legged female piglet to walk by lifting it up by its tail. ‘I trained her a while each day. After 30 days she could agilely walk upside down.’

The six-meter wide bridge stretches 430 meters over a 300-meter-deep valley between two cliffs. Visitors reportedly lined up for hours to cross.

Around two months ago, the government had provided Rs 1 million to Yadav for medical check up in India, during which his prostate cancer was detected. A lightning strike in Norway has killed more than 300 reindeer, according to reports from local media. A spokesman for the Norwegian Nature Inspectorate (NNI) told NTB, the Norwegian News Agency, that 323 reindeer were found dead on Friday in an area near Hardangervidda, in the southern part of the country. In a press release published Sunday, the Norwegian Environment Agency said that 70 of the dead reindeer were calves. Officials believe that the animals were killed by lightning during a heavy thunderstorm, marking what could be the deadliest lightning strike in history.”We’ve heard about animals being struck by lightning and killed, but I don’t remember hearing about lightning killing animals on this scale before,” NNI spokesman Knut Nylend tells NTB. “We don’t know if it was one or more lighting strike; that would only be speculation.”Nylend discovered the animals in a remote part of a private hunting area, and NIN employees have been dispatched to the region to take samples from the reindeer. Hardangervidda national park is home to an estimated 10,000 wild reindeer that migrate across the region every year. Undergoing medical treatment after a brutal beating by her relatives, who accused her of being a witch or “boksi” in the Nepalese language. They blamed her for using black magic to make a young girl ill in Myagdi district, 400km south of the capital, Kathmandu. “She was severely beaten with logs so that her witch’s spell would leave the girl’s body,” said a local teacher, Man Bahadur Pariyar, who with other villagers helped to rescue 60-year-old Darji and took her to the local health centre. “This should not be tolerated. When Adrian accidentally spotted a goat being slaughtered, he realized his new animal friend was next in line. Let us go back to an ancient time. All the people have lots of
responsibilities: some are masculine responsibilities and some are
feminine responsibilities. The masculine responsibilities are the
responsibilities that can be handled with strong muscles. Handling
cattle, hunting, fighting, using sharp weapons, security, gang fight,
war, carrying heavy loads, and all other physically hard works are known
as masculine responsibilities. Men could easily handle the masculine
responsibilities.

Accordingly, the responsibilities that can be handled with more love,
affection and care using less physical work are known as feminine
responsibilities. Lovely and affectionate care to the children, caring
of elderly people, preparing food for the family, washing dishes,
preparing and washing clothes, feeding cattle, caring of the goods at
home, entertaining the family members and guests, making emotional bond
with them all, motivating them to the right tracks are the feminine
responsibilities.

A person cannot fulfill all these responsibilities alone. To live a
normal human life, all the feminine and masculine responsibilities need
to be fulfilled on his/her behalf. People believe in marriage for all
their personal, family and social responsibilities can be fulfilled with
the help of their spouses. Besides, people believe in marriage to have
sexual pleasure and to re-generate their family and race.
That is why, we can conclude, marriage is a strong bond between spouses
that legalizes the sexual relationship and fulfills all the personal,
family and social responsibilities.

But to maintain the strong bond between the spouses, strong faith is
necessary. Both the husband and wife are possessive to each other in
most of the societies and the religions; so is there in Nepali society.

After marriage, when one makes physical and emotional attachments with
the third person, the spouse cannot bear tolerate it.

Mbah Gotho, from Indonesia has been named the world oldest man with documentation showing that he was born in 1870, which makes him 145 years old.Gotho does not however desire to be still alive as he says he began preparing for his death in 1992–and has even made a gravestone. However, 24 years later, he’s still alive.He told a regional news network that, “What I want is to die.”Interestingly, Gotho has outlived all 10 of his siblings, his four wives and his children.UK’s Independent says, “For the past three months he has needed to bathed and spoon-fed, and is becoming increasingly frail.”“Mr Gotho has official documentation which shows his age, and the Indonesian records office says it has confirmed his birth date as December 31 1870,” the website adds.Already, there are several other people who claim to be older than 145, such as Nigerian James Olofintuyi, who claims to be 171, and Dhaqabo Ebba from Ethiopia, who claims to be 163–but the absence of any official documentation to prove this makes their claims weak.

Youth leader of Nepali Congress Gagan Thapa was born in 1977 in Solukhumbu. He is the son of Mahendra Kumar Thapa and Rameshwari Thapa. Educated from Kathmandu's Siddhartha Banasthali High School, Thapa holds a Master's Degree in Sociology. He is contesting from Kathmandu-4 in the CA Election 2013 representing Nepali Congress. He began his political career in 1990. He was the general secretary of the NC's student wing Nepal Student Union since 2003 till 2005. Known for his oratory skills, Thapa came into public attention with his aggressive speeches during the movement against the direct rule of the then King Gyanendra. He also criticizes his own party leaders. NC inducted Thapa to the CA in 2008 from PR system. He is currently a central member of the NC. Married to the daughter of NC leader Arjun Narsingh KC, Thapa has a daughter. Thapa has formed a group for agricultural activities and runs a meat shop in Kathmandu.

Rara National Park, Nepal’s smallest and most scenic national park that spreads over an area of 106 square kilometer, is situated about 370 kilometers north- west of Kathmandu and lies in Mugu which is a mountainous district of the western region of Nepal. The undisturbed and the largest lake is also renowned as Mahendra Tal and it is shaped like an oval. The National Park ascends from 1800meters to 4480meters forested by conifers. The pivotal of Rara National Park is the pristine Rara Lake, which stands at the height of 2990meters and spreads over 10.8 square kilometers.The lake is surrounded by richly forested hills and Chuchemara Danda at 4,087 meters is the best vantage point to witness stunning views of the lake and the thickly forested hillsides and the snow-capped peaks around it.Other summits in the park area are Ruma kand at 3,731 meters and Malika Kand at 3,444 meters which are situated to the north of the lake. The trek to Rara Lake begins at Jumla, a village in the Trans – Himalayan area and the rides covered with forests and alpine pastures.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the Ministry of Health to prevent ‘doctors’, who are under scanner on the charge of possessing fake certificates, from giving continuity to their practices. PM Dahal telephoned Dr Senendra Upreti, secretary at the Ministry of Health, and told him to make sure Nepal Medical Council suspends them and bars them from serving patients. Prakash Dahal, member of Prachanda’s Secretariat, said quoting Prachanda’s directives to Dr Upreti: We have information that ‘fake doctors’ have started attending to patients upon their release from custody. You get them suspended through Medical Council and bar them from serving patients.

Odisha government attempts to sweep the issue of Kalahandi tribal Dana Majhi carrying his wife’s corpse under carpet, Bahrain Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has reportedly extended financial help to the family drowned in grief. “His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa read about the man, who carried his wife’s body for 12 km after the hospital where she died allegedly failed to provide an ambulance for her to be sent back to their village,” the Gulf Daily News reported on Sunday. “The Gulf Daily News learned exclusively yesterday that the Premier was so upset by the news that he felt he had to do something to help. He could not just stand by and do nothing about such suffering. The Prime Minister’s office contacted Bahrain’s Indian Embassy, and, in an extraordinary humanitarian gesture has donated a sum of money to help the man and his family,” the daily said. The report did not mention about the sum. One Bahraini Dinar equals Rs 178 Indian Rupee. Some readers of The Indian Express too have expressed their desire to donate money for Majhi’s family.
