From the moment of birth, one’s relationship with one’s parents is vitally important. Your parents nurtured you when you were incapable of taking care of yourself. They taught you what they knew, and protected you from things harmful to you. Without them, or someone like them, you would not be here today.In the Old Testament book of Malachi, as God chastises the disobedience of His people, He also expresses His view of the sanctity of marriage,“[The] Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
