Constitution amendment as per need of nation and people’s wish: UML leader Khanal Bardibas, Aug 25: CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has stated that the amendment to the new constitution will be considered depending on the need of the nation and its relevance acknowledged by the public. While meeting the party cadres at Bardibas in Mahottari, leader Khanal blamed that some political parties were mocking at the new national statute instead of taking pride in it. The former Prime Minister claimed that the three-point agreement inked between the Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Centre and Federal Alliance was not for the amendment of the new constitution but a practice of power sharing. He expressed his doubt that the incumbent government will be successful in holding all elections in the stipulated time. -
