Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramesh Kharel is the new chief of Kathmandu Police after being transferred from Bagmati Zone to the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu.Kharel was previously deputed at the Zonal Police Office in Bagmati.Outgoing Kathmandu Police chief Subodh Ghimire has been transferred to the Bagmati Zonal Office. Spokesperson of Nepal Police Ganesh KC said that Pushpa Ranjit was made the new chief of Lalitpur Police.
