 21st March: While there are several environmental crises converging in the capital city– severe water shortages, for instance, have become status quo – none is as dire as air quality. In the past 10 years, the number of vehicles on Kathmandu’s streets has risen threefold. In a latest finding which may not surprise many, Kathmandu has been ranked the third most polluted city in the world, according to Pollution Index 2016.
