Audience Angry With Sahana Bajracharya After Amar Panchhi Event

Amar Panchhi event was successfully organized which got good response from audience. But Rajesh Hamal expressed his bad feelings on Nepal Army’s act of going on dress to receive Bollywood actress. Bollywood actress used their national language Hindi to address people but Sahana Bajracharya rarely spoke in Nepali while hosting the program. This has disappointed the audience. Dhurmus Suntali Giranchaur Basti Making Overnight

Comedian couple Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire best known as "Dhurmus-Suntali" led out an adorable campaign for Integrated Settlement for quake victims on their own. The comedian duo of Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) of the weekly sitcom Meri Bassai were in the US in the middle of a two-and-a-half month tour when the Great Earthquake rattled Nepal on April 25. One week after the quake, the duo—who are also the Sanitation Brand Ambassadors for the Nepal government—were back in Nepal. They had to cancel the remaining scheduled 18 shows, which were meant to raise money for sanitation programmes back home. Since they have been back, they have focused solely on carrying out relief work. The husband and wife have successfully rebuilt Pahari Basti, Danda Gaun, ward no 16, in Kavrepalanchok district, with the help of locals and volunteers by making earthquake-resistant houses for an Integrated Model Village. Nepali Congress President Deuba urges all democrats to unite

Nepali Congress President and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba apointed out the need for all democrats staying united as there was threat to democracy in the country. Deuba claimed that the incumbent government failed to implement the new Constitution through harmony and agreement among the political parties. According to him, the government ignored the largest party (Nepali Congress) in the Parliament, but his party would deal with that and work out to save the democracy. Also, while speaking at a programme organised to mark the 22th anniversary of Prajatantrik Vichar Samaj.
